Increase the leakage resistance and bear the pressure difference between the inside and outside to prevent the leakage of gas, coolant, lubricating oil, gear oil, brake fluid, etc.
If the compression resilience of the gasket cannot compensate for the roughness and deformation of the joint surface, or the gasket undergoes plastic deformation, aging, cracking, loosening, softening or hardening, peeling, delamination, etc. during installation and use, or due to bolts If the seal structure is loosened due to loosening or deformation, the sealing surface will leak.
Therefore, under the condition that the machining precision and flatness on both sides of the joint surface are qualified, and the bolts are qualified and tightened reasonably, the performance of the gasket is very important, which determines the reliability and seal life of the plane seal there.
